OkSOBERfest is a weeklong series of events built for college students who want more ways to chill, connect, and celebrate without substances at the center. A mix of stress relief, creative hangouts, and social events designed to help you slow down, connect, and have fun in your own way.
Whether you don’t drink, drink, or are actively trying to drink less, this week is for you!

OkSOBERfest will feature fun giveaways throughout the week! Students who complete the event evaluation form will also be entered into our grand prize raffle.
Drag Night
10/17 | THC Current | 7:00-9:00PM
Drag Night is a UR tradition that includes several drag performances, trivia contests, lip-sync battles, and attractive prize baskets. Food and drinks will be provided.
Don't Fly Solo
10/20 | The Forum | 12:00-2:00PM
Don’t Fly Solo is the signature event of our series, offering a welcoming space for students to discover healthier ways to manage stress and navigate challenges. Instead of turning to substances for relief, explore supportive resources and meaningful alternatives. Funnel cakes from Cason Funnel Cakes will be provided!
Party W/ Point 5

Party with Point 5, Richmond's premier alcohol-free bottle shop, offers a unique selection of specialty beverages and mixers tailored for both sober-curious individuals and regular drinkers. At this event, Point 5 will provide tastings of their curated products while sharing insights into how they support the growing sober-curious movement. Whether you're exploring alcohol alternatives or simply looking to try something new, this is the perfect opportunity to discover delicious, mindful options
Candlelight Yoga

Join us for a soothing Candlelight Yoga session designed for beginners, perfect for unwinding and relieving stress. Set in a tranquil, softly lit environment, this class offers gentle movements and breathing exercises to calm the mind and body. No prior yoga experience is required.
Bingo Night

Take a break, recharge, and focus on you! As part of the You Matter series, all of THC will be filled with activities to relax your body and refresh your mind. Treat yourself to soothing massages, get creative with arts and crafts, and find your balance in calming yoga classes and meditation segments. This is your chance to step away from the busy routine, connect with others, and prioritize what truly matters, your well-being.
